Human first, therapist second.
As healthcare professionals, we spend our days responding to people in real-time, adapting to what’s in front of us, and making decisions that require both logic and intuition. It’s creativity in action.
But when we’re burnt out, running on autopilot, or overwhelmed, our ability to be fully present and tap into our creativity can starts to fade.
I wanted to currate experiences that pull us out of our usual routines, spark curiosity, and remind us what it feels like to truly see the world and be present. Because when we step into something different- whether it’s art, movement, nature, or a totally unfamiliar environment- it shifts the way we engage with everything else, including our work
Enter Field Trips!
Remember the excitement of field trips in school? It’s time to bring that energy back- only this time, we’re getting you out of the clinic!

Coming Next: Field Trip Ottawa
Join me for a Field Trip in Ottawa for a night of dinner, bowling, and connection. A chance to step out of your everyday routine, meet like-minded women in healthcare, and rediscover just how fun it is to press play on a school night.
Tuesday, October 20 from 5pm-8:15ish
Dinner + Connection
We’ll kick things off with an early dinner (I loveeee an early dinner) at Milestones Kanata. A chance to settle in, meet some incredible women in healthcare, share what you do, and connect over good food before our game faces come out.
A Little Bowling Nostalgia
Then we’re heading to Splitsville for a few games of bowling! And a very important reminder: you do not have to be good at something for it to be fun! Whether you’re throwing strikes, gutter balls, or something wildly in between, the point is to laugh, play, and enjoy being together.
Connection Without the Awkward Networking
This is a chance to meet like-minded women in healthcare, grow your community, talk about the work you’re doing, and make connections in a way that feels a whole lot more natural than standing around with a name tag and a drink in your hand.
Press Play on a School Night Field Trip
Mostly, I want this to feel like a throwback to when doing something fun on a weeknight felt exciting. An evening to get out of your usual routine, meet new people, laugh a lot, and remember that grown-ups are allowed to play too.
Come for dinner, stay for the questionable bowling scores, and let’s Press Play together!
Your $75 + HST ticket includes dinner at Milestones (one non-alcoholic beverage, one main, and one dessert ) plus bowling at Splitsville.
Due to the nature of the event, ticket purchases are non-refundable but can be transferred to another participant should you no longer be able to attend.
